Verse 101

Verse 101

Fallen down
On to hard, concrete ground
Fallen through my hands
I am lost, far from found
Off in the distance
Here comes the rain
Inside of my mind
I feel the pain
Fallen down
The walls around me
Fallen through the cracks
I have tried, so hard
Time and time again
Here comes the rain
Inside of my mind
I feel the  pain

    • Oh yes … the peaceful, cleansing rain is good!!! You have to be poetic about it … look through the grey of the sky, and feel the water drops fall from the sky … they are the tears of Mother Earth … they are the cleansing drops of the world, the earth, and the city sidewalks … cleansing the dirt that our foot steps leave behind, cleansing the cruelty, and the realities that tarnish our otherwise beautiful space … poetically, the rain is extremely symbolic. That’s why I love it so much!!!

      • hmmmm, the tears of mother earth. I don’t know if you read it yet, but if not then check out a lil something on my site called “Mother’s Tears”. I think you might just like it. Sort of a short commentary piece. Smile through the rain and let your soul create the sun’s shine!!!!
