A Poetic Duet Written by Pieces & Think. Speak. Tryst
This is the brilliance of Neeraj, mixed with the feminine sensitivity of me, (Jen) … An emotional expression of words through the hearts & minds of a man and a woman .. Here, Neeraj explains this beautifully:
Walking Away
This is a Poetic Duet that tugs at the heart.
Written by the talented Neeraj of Pieces, and myself of Tryst.
Walking Away
Packed my bags I’m headed to the front door

Ridding the Waters of Love
Regardless of the storms that life will throw
Together we march like we have no care

Riding onto you,
Dream Kisses
A Poetic Duet by A Shade of Pen & Think Speak Tryst
Dream Kisses
Dark green leaves
Falling from the trees
Kissing the lake
I see you in my dreams
I can feel you breathe
All the memories we had
Wrap around me and push me down
To the land we own
Into the palm of my hand
As we talk for hours
Love does not reprimand
Forgetting all the worries of the world
The entire universe ceases to exist
As my heart drums the beats for you
Shadows of Fire ~ Tryst Fiction
~Tryst Fiction~
Shadows of Fire
There was a time when our fire burnned deep between us.
It was like we would never grow old and tired.
The passion and energy would build higher and higher with each moment we spent together.
Then life happened and your fire was slightly dimmer each year.
Yet, you can still see my passion, if you watch the shadows of my spirit that follow me, as you continue to walk the other way.

Five Sentence Fiction – Shadows
What it’s all about: Five Sentence Fiction is about packing a powerful punch in a tiny fist. Each week I will post a one word inspiration, then anyone wishing to participate will write a five sentence story based on the prompt word. The word does not have to appear in your five sentences, just use it for direction.
This week: SHADOWS

Through the Dark
A Poetic Duet, my first one written with Neeraj, who’s words come alive on the screen. He is an amazing writer! This piece we created together is both dark, and light… with love and pain. It is the best of both worlds, all in one!

Yesterday’s Gone
A Poetic Duet written by Hastywords & Tryst
YESTERDAY’S GONE
After the tide
Pulls away from the beach
I am yearning for you
You are out of reach
I spent my life reaching
But each time I falter
Something happens
And you are even farther
After many words exchanged
You are slipping away
Looking to the sky
What more can I say
I have no more words
No more ways to say
I miss you so much more
Than mere words portray
As the tide rolls back in
I search it’s substance
But you were washed away
Forever lost in a churning sea
The only comfort I find
Comes from the rising sun
I know the day will come
And I will meet you were it sets
We are both free
Unlocked by our chains
Is there ‘us’ for tomorrow
I cherish what remains
Forgiveness is virtuous
Our language was broken
I’ll see you at sunset
Exchange things unspoken
After the tide
Lessons we have learned
Yesterday is gone
Resentments have burned
