 In This Moment

 1227c0dc8d22d6d0087ee828e02de7ca

Wind brought movement
To your hair in the night air
Hold on tightly to me
Shaken is the bridge we stand upon
In this moment, you are all that I see

My field of vision blurry
Melancholy tears flood my eyes
I desperately clench your body
Fear chills my very soul
In this moment, you are all that I desire

Last night’s words echo
Penetrating deep in my heart
Leaving me in the valley of despair
Holding on to our velvet embrace
In this moment, you are all that I need

We stand upon the precipice
Of this life-changing event
Will you continue to stand by me
Or in your darkness, will you relent?
In this moment, you are all that consumes me

Hush while I sing to you
The sweet melodies of my soul
Escalating my desire to please you
Watching light explode in your eyes
In this moment, you are the magic that binds us

A hollow tune rings out instead
Foreshadowing events to come
I see our paths diverge
Leaving only shattered pieces to remain
In this moment, you are all that is missing

Standing in the frost-bitten morning
Realizing yesterday is long gone
Holding on to the tangible memories
I reach for you to come along

Broken pieces in our rear view
But it doesn’t even matter
Tomorrow is the place to heal our souls
Forgetting what was shattered

Through the energy that binds us now
Standing by you, you are next to me
In this moment, you are all that I see

Beautiful Mistake

A Passionate-Romantic Duet

Written by Neeraj of Pieces ~ Exposing Emotion & Think Speak Tryst

e7c211ccf1ab8b0e29c19589a77a6cbe

Beautiful Mistake

 Riding onto you,

I knew I was making mistake,

When in my mouth I had your taste,

Crushing my dignity,

For all the pleasure to take,

I didn’t want anything to waste,

So I opened my mouth,

To grab a piece of you,

It wasn’t going to be easy,

Ah, I wish I knew,

Heat and fire,

From your dark, intense eyes

Penetrate my heart,

Beating faster and faster, in this moment

I go to speak, but can’t

I should not take you back,

But here you are, and I’m your toy,

Teasing me, you are so coy,

As I melt into you,

Umm… It’s delicious feeling you all over me,

Don’t stop that finger that you run over me,

I’m your slave, feel me,

Explore my curves,

Explore the heights,

Get into the center and rewrite,

My destiny,

Skin on skin

Heat moving between us

Silent we are with words

As our language of the body

Says it all

This moment is timeless

You are breathtaking

Tracing your lips

I must feel your embrace

I will never forget this time and place

Let me feel this feeling so rapture,

Let me taste everything,

Let me (every moment) capture,

What I’m doing I have no clue,

As you’re moving deeper inside me,

And I, inside you,

And I wish I knew,

After you there would be no place,

But lets not stop making beautiful mistakes.

Dream Kisses

A Poetic Duet by A Shade of Pen & Think Speak Tryst

 5fe65e005d67b7cfc0c0eb1e731becf5

Dream Kisses

 Dark green leaves
Falling from the trees
Kissing the lake
I see you in my dreams

You stand so close
I can feel you breathe
All the memories we had
Wrap around me and push me down
To the land we own

You press your warmth
Into the palm of my hand
As we talk for hours
Love does not reprimand

Into the afternoon sun, we have only us
We lie down in each other’s arm
Forgetting all the worries of the world
The entire universe ceases to exist
As my heart drums the beats for you

Like kisses in the water
I enjoy these endless moments
Frozen in time, you by my side
Deep beauty is rooted in your eyes

Nothing can take away the smile
No truth is larger than the love we share
I hug you close, I hug you hard
Because I do not want to let you go

So jump into the river with me
Let’s swim until our arms tire
Brilliant sky of blue above
Naked in the water with my love

The Sun silently rises in the sky
And with a pop my eyes open wide
A wonderful dream ends yet again
I still smile at those memories
Because one day it will all be a reality

Like the leaves that fall
Kissing the land they fall upon
In my dreams I see you there
In a place of mine, you will never be gone

Shadows of Fire ~ Tryst Fiction

~Tryst Fiction~

Shadows of Fire

There was a time when our fire burnned deep between us.

It was like we would never grow old and tired.

The passion and energy would build higher and higher with each moment we spent together.

Then life happened and your fire was slightly dimmer each year.

Yet, you can still see my passion, if you watch the shadows of my spirit that follow me, as you continue to walk the other way.

Five Sentence Fiction – Shadows

What it’s all about: Five Sentence Fiction is about packing a powerful punch in a tiny fist. Each week I will post a one word inspiration, then anyone wishing to participate will write a five sentence story based on the prompt word. The word does not have to appear in your five sentences, just use it for direction.

This week: SHADOWS

Yesterday’s Gone

A Poetic Duet written by Hastywords & Tryst

 aaa

YESTERDAY’S GONE

After the tide

Pulls away from the beach

I am yearning for you

You are out of reach

I spent my life reaching

But each time I falter

Something happens

And you are even farther

After many words exchanged

You are slipping away

Looking to the sky

What more can I say

I have no more words

No more ways to say

I miss you so much more

Than mere words portray

As the tide rolls back in

I search it’s substance

But you were washed away

Forever lost in a churning sea

The only comfort I find

Comes from the rising sun

I know the day will come

And I will meet you were it sets

We are both free

Unlocked by our chains

Is there ‘us’ for tomorrow

I cherish what remains

Forgiveness is virtuous

Our language was broken

I’ll see you at sunset

Exchange things unspoken

After the tide

Lessons we have learned

Yesterday is gone

Resentments have burned

Look at You

Look at You

 imagesCA1X1UBE

She will look at you with utter amazement,

watching as you speak to others.

Then as you walk across the room to sit with her,

she will listen to all you have to say.

She will respect you and your love for her will grow

as she stands by your side with a

proud sparkle in her eye.

Laugh and be silly with her and she will love you more.

Be true and faithful and she will love you forever.

She will take care of you, tell the world

how great you are and she will do all she can

to make you feel like a king.

Her commitment to you is true and pure.

All she wants is for you to look at her the same,

each and every time

And for love to work its magic

You will always be mine.

~~ J. Lefever ~~

I wrote this piece about ten years ago… I came across it the other day… I can see, even then, I loved to love. I’ve always had a lot of love in my heart… to give… and hope to receive. The interesting part is how much my writing has changed in ten years. My writing has grown just as I have…

Satin Sky

jtu
Satin Sky

I stood waiting alone
Watching for you to come
Underneath the heat of the day
Hugged by the warmth of the sun

I have anticipated this
For so many long nights
I have wished upon stars
Dreaming of what feels right

I remember the day
I was taken from you
Not even a goodbye
How much I cried for you

Under many moons and
Horizons of suns went by
Till the day I run free to you
Will be a day of a satin sky

Loveღ

Love.
♥

This is a piece on love
Love of the unexplainable kind
I want to write
So you can feel
What love feels like
Love in the heart & mind

Like sugar on your tongue
Like music in your ears
Colors for the eyes
Gestures that bring you to tears

Love is everywhere
It is my atmosphere
I feel it in his fingers
When he runs them across my skin
I sense it in his voice
When he calls just to hear
my voice again

I love the way
He loves me
And we love each other
I look to him
I know there is no other
A soul that I’d rather share
My entire life with
My moments of joy, sadness, success
And defeat
There is only one for me
It is him, I see

This is a piece
On the love that is mine
It is something so real
Our souls intertwined
The day we fell
Both of us could tell you
But the details are ours
We keep locked in our heart
Holding each other’s hands
‘Till death do us part

With him
Love is everywhere I go
My soul is satisfied
Love tells me so

Ordinary World *˚♥ .ღ˛° ♥* °♥ ˚ •  *
~ A Tryst Mish Mash Piece

It was a time when people had manners
And displayed them as though they were the
Height of sophistication, with all details remembered
We were exquisite when we walked through the streets
My chin up, posed with pride and beauty
My delicate facial features, soft, creamy in the sun
As the sunset falls to the horizon
Much like we were soon to fall, only us oblivious
To this intimate fact, which was, none-the-less
A hope of no one but our own
We were all we could see
Time passed
As elegant as we continued to be
At every social event, included in all the latest words
Which also floated around
As quick & as temporary as the man who chooses
His company for the evening
Depending on his level of excitement, and
Lack of commitment
Yet, those women to make a quick choice upon
Were not ever thought of
For a term of longevity
Or for any of the reasons & responsibilities
Of which a woman like me waited so long
To kiss young women-hood good-bye and
Wake to the sunlight by opening the curtains
In the master bed room
To see white linen, everywhere, a mess
But this was allowed for a Tryst of this kind
Finally we became one
Looking over her bare-naked shoulder
While the pink & orange lights of early morning
Peaked through the wild curls of her messy hair
Through the window pane, but no pain of the heart
And She smiles at him
Thinking of the night before
Hand in hand, walking the boardwalk
The rose in his lapel had been used in warm
Foreplay, which was only post behavior
To the display of romantic affections they had left
In pieces, everywhere they went that night
The night before, this very moment
As this woman finds such comfort
In the bold masculinity her eyes fall upon
Painting her mind with a future full of gold
And gold, as in internal richness
Love of the right and ultimate kind
The kind that artists display on tapestries
Framed in thick elegance that hang upon
The walls of homes, harboring the desire
Of love of the perfect kind
Giving reason to all the things we are told
Growing up, coming to this time
When we get to look at our future
Vulnerable, naked and wrapped up in
Our white linen fairytale
Which then became a reality
Following the expectations of society
Conforming to the molds
That everyone thinks they should be
And this is why, today
As I stand here, naked & vulnerable myself
Vision staring deep into
What is to become of me, my soul
I decide to jump
Outside of the box
Hand in hand with my love
Into the unknown
Unpredictable, because I
Am anything but normal
I, just like my love
Is not in a box, just like my soul, I
Live a strange & wonderfully different
Life that is mine, is ours, we became
In that moment, defining my soul, and I
Am anything but ordinary

I really have no clue why this came out of me… These words… I came to write something and I got something completely different from what I had expected. That’s one of the great things about the ‘Art of Writing’ … it is art of the soul. There are no rules when it comes to self-expression. You can be free to write anything your soul desires. Your words become something, that turns around and tells us something, representing you.

What is more beautiful than that?

Careless Hair

Careless Hair
I walked to that place
Where no one knows I go
Alone in the mist of morning
Surrounded by music of the mountain
The wind brushes my face
Whips my careless hair
Careless like the way you left
Standing solo in the door
Left looking somewhere beyond
Way past the life we ever seemed to have
I seems I’ve already forgotten you
Just a shadow that has moved along
Gone just as quickly as you came
Like tumble weed, rolling unseen through
Dry, endless vastness of the desert
My heart has no place left for you
